Oh its around... The Co-op out on 26 has a bio blend... But doesnt advertise it as such. Got it delivered to the farm one fall... Come winter it turned to strawberry pudding, and even straight isopropyl alcohol didnt change that. That tractor was drug into the shop. Once it all warmed up (took almost a week) all the fuel was drained out and straight #1 went into it.

Really? We buy fuel there occasionally but I sure never noticed the bio-diesel label on the pump. I guess I'll have to watch more carefully.Last edited: May 18, 2023
Cattleman84, High Stepper and Cowboyrich Thank this. -
If I recall, k1 is kerosene, k2 is what we all consider diesel. Difference between the two is refinement and less lubricity.
Makes sense it would gel less than diesel. -
I dont know if it was a fluke or what but that year we got a bio blend... But we didnt order bio. We had actually ordered winter blend. This was bulk delivered to our stationary tanks.Oxbow Thanks this.

Driver screwed up. Pulled wrong product. Easy to do if you’re not paying attention.
One rack I pulled from has winter blend 87 and alternative winter blend …which is E85.
The former is 15 percent ethanol, second is 85 percent ethanol.Cattleman84 and Oxbow Thank this.
