I still think the Donaldson M100463 will out flow that one. I wish they would give a cfm rating at a particular level of water column to be able see the difference between them.

They look like a quality built muffler, but that real question, what do they run for price? Unless they're cheaper than the Donaldsons I'm still thinking they're the way to go as well.

well guys, got it done today. i started yesterday and gave up after cutting my hand. the muffler on my truck must have been the original. it was rusted together at the connections. i had to cut it out. it was falling apart as i beat on it. i wanted to get the donaldson but could not find it in stock. i ended up buying the walker megaflows #22964. $164 at napa. it sound a tad louder with a little more wissle from turbo. it also revs up a little faster too with a deeper exhaust tone. all in all, i am content. hope to see some savings in the pocket book. later:yes2557:

Great job! Sounds like what I have to look forward to as well. Mine are rusted at the clamps. What did you replace otherwise, just clamps and mufflers? At least now I have two options I guess. Keep us posted on how they do.

i ended up spending close to $210 total with 2 new clamps and some new bolts. i did it becouse of this tread. mine was old and leaking a little at the bottom clamp. also its not a big in diameter as the original. maybe a inc or two difference but length is exactly.

Sounds like he only had one to deal with too. Cheaper and easier. I have two and they're sandwiched in-between my headache rack and the sleeper with fairings to the side. Basically boxed in. Joy... :biggrin_25511:
