That slight slant, as in not straight up 12 o clock I think is normal. Mine did the same when I replaced the bar and springs. My truck the front cab bushings were definitely shot. The whole cab would jolt back and forth. It had a lot to do with feeling like the axles were going to come out from under the truck for me.

That’s good to know that it may be normal. Did a load yesterday and the truck rode good!

Next item I want to figure out would be how to disable the stupid VADA sensor, the #### thing is driving me crazy as it is going off constantly. Perhaps I should start a new thread on that topic to see if I can get any help.

Dealer should be able to disable with his laptop.
I made a few changes to mine last week as per my requests and no issues ($185 later).

I asked! They would not do it! Only thing he can do is lower the volume and that’s it.

That's odd. Mine doesn't make any sounds at all if you are talking about the driver alert for like low air warning. I can see the light on the dash but no dings chirps or anything like that. I wish it did work, though.

Oh no, we are talking about the Volvo active drivers assist or distance alert.

If yours aren’t making any sounds then your speaker inside your speedometer is broken, easy $30 fix if you can solder.

Nevermind about disabling the VADA sensor.

I used some foil tape and wrapped the radar sensor with 3-4 layers of the tape and now my sensor is officially blocked, no check lights whatsoever only a pop up message saying the VADA sensor is blocked. Cruise control works like a traditional truck would, but the adaptive does not work which is fine with me. The beeping literally drove me nuts! I’m happy with the results with the simple mod.

One company I used to drive for had that in one of the brand new trucks they got. My friend drove it, and he hated it too. It was annoying as hell hearing it when I would be on the phone with him while he was driving.

Simple fix if you are the truck owner.

Use configuration changes to the vada and use configuration 7 if I remember right.... It's the least sensitive settings.

Unless you're within 18' of a vehicle it won't beep anymore

    Is that parameter within PTT?
