Rookie, I pm-ed you my contact information please contact me if you want.

As long as you realize it was you that screwed up, and no one else, accept the blame and realize WHY the second accident happened....you should be able to get a job somewhere. Its gonna be hard though.

By the way, are you trying to imply that hitting the pole was somehow related to the trailer being out of alignment? I've pulled misalligned trailers before, even trailers with NRW (not road worthy) spray painted on them, but never anything quite like that.

But maintenance and dispatch will occasionally try to get you to do things that are simply not safe, and you have to tell them no. I ripped an antifreeze line off my apu one time backing in, my dispatcher asked me why i couldnt finish my run. I said....cause.....I just dumped 8 gallons of antifreeze on the parking lot!.... of course he didnt realize it was the same antifreeze.

One time at CRST, i had an injector go out. I'm no mechanic, back then i didnt know what the problem couldve been. I told maintenance, hey, check engine light is on, engine is running very rough, serious loss of power, they asked me if there was black smoke coming out of the stack, i said no, then they asked if i thought i could make delivery...i said....i THINK so...

well, i did, then they gave me a 40,000lb load to take to the terminal to get it fixed. Ran 3000 miles with a bad injector. Which apparently couldve blown the engine. But it didnt. Sure is hard to sleep with an engine firing on 5 cylinders all night!

Dont give that story at your next interview :) You'll find a job, alot of places dont want more than 1 preventable in 1 year, or 1 in 3 years!

I have 2 preventables, one TRULY isnt my fault. There was a hole in the trailer(small water leak), and I didnt notice it till AFTER I had it "attached" to the truck through the Qualcomm, called On Road to get it fixed and since I hadnt called BEFORE I put it on the truck, they considered it my fault. The blame has to go somewhere.

Had I called before, it would have gone on the driver who had pulled it previously. BUT whatever, its a preventable and I would have trouble finding another job I think. Point is.. it doesnt matter the circumstance really. Just owe up to it and keep looking!!

You'll find someplace. I think the problem might be with the amount of drivers out of work, than your accidents.

You might try USA Truck. I got in there with three incidents in one year after Swift fired me. That was a few years ago but it is worth a try.
