Yea, I don't think a USB cord can carry enough power for it to work off that

Even the newer version that doesn't have a paper feed takes two AAs

That thing is pretty cool! Man I would imagine USB 3 could handle it but maybe not.

CamScanner app and yes definitely buy the full version.
Alternatively, Apple/iPhone Notes will convert pics to pdf, but I like CamScanner for the multi page documents.

This is just gonna feel weird taking pics of 14 page agreements! I don't see a lot of those these days though. Most are short or online.

The Con/BOL/Invoice parts seems logical though.

It’s fast and easy and the app straightens and stretches and aligns the pics so it looks just like it was fed through a scanner. Choose the ‘Magic Color’ setting for best result.
