Don'/t even think about doing it. You know the pay they told you based on your experience? They're going to start you at the bottom, the same pay as a new guy would make. Because your jobs aren't on your DAC report.

I seriously heard this happen to someone while I was in the HR office at "The White House" (the home terminal in chattanooga....it looks JUST LIKE the real white house...). The HR girl told him that EVEN THOUGH they verified that he really worked those jobs for that long, they could not count them towards his pay because its not on his DAC report.

Seriously, what the hell? It wouldn't be such a big deal to most people who would end up working there, because it is a training company, but...I think thats going to be a dealbreaker for you...

You don't know about the EPA award Cov. won last year (by torturing drivers...)?

My dispatcher at Covenant told me the percentage is 30% (I though it was 35%).

But if I need to idle, I do so. Always send msg telling them where I am, temp. and reason why I'm idling. They never charged me.

If you use this box to trick truck and disable governor, you better never let co. find out or you will be fired.

    All the best.

Rocking, APU has nothing to do with running good miles or not.

If you start as new driver and they want you to team, you will team for 6 months.

If you are solo, they will not give you an APU.

APU are only for new trucks. Mostly for teams, trainers, members of the executive council and solos who have been working in the company for many years.

They lied to you. Recruiting doesnt pull your DAC report. They don't know. That's what happened to this guy. He was told he'd make a lot, then was offered like 26 cents a mile, right in front of me.

"Well, we verified your experience, but its not on your DAC"....
    .....

    Have fun.

That makes sense. Yeah. A team truck should run 24/7 and therefore why should it have an apu? That's just STUPID. Makes me wonder if the teams are even getting miles.

    Yes, it's stupid. :biggrin_25523:

But many teams get new trucks and all new trucks have APUs.

It would make more sense to have APU in a solo truck (specially in a solo truck.)

    SierraSemiDriver Thanks this.
