bottom o ring on mp7 injector?

    Why does Mack say to not use the bottom oring. i would feel better putting it on unless someone could explain why I shouldn't, thanks

    Volvo (Mack) was trying to appease customers by constantly changing how many o rings, o ring supplier, hold down torque values etc. knowing full well that the injector/cup set up that they were using in the D/MP series engine were a complete engineering failure. Go ahead and use o ring. It won't matter too much in about a year or so from now.

    Thanks i did use them and seems to run fine, just seemed to me that it would be one more o ring it would have to get by, plus it seems it would help keep the injector steady.
