First of all, if it is listed on an inspection report - that IS a violation/warning.
Second, not all violations affect the CSA score. Size, weight and registration, for example, do not have CSA points.
Third, you can ALWAYS fight a warning. That is what the Data Q system is for.

Never even heard of data Q until that post. Always thought you couldnt fight a warning also. Will have to read up on this.

Ok, here was the situation I was in (this is 4+ years ago now). I routinely ran from Mpls to Ft, Wayne, In. There was a state trooper that had his camping spot at the light on US30 in Etna Green (between Plymouth and Warsaw). He was visible from at least a half mile, wasnt like he was hiding. The speed limit drops from 60 to 50 about a quarter mile from the light, and goes back to 60 about a quarter mile past it.
I was coming up on the light (it was red and several cars stopped), in the right lane and down to around 15mph I guess when the light turned green and traffic started moving. I couldnt have been doing more than 30 going through the intersection. The A Hole pulls me over and gives me a warning for speed, and another because I didnt have my BOL on the log (elogs) for that day (I had been driving all night, that was the first time I stopped that day). In other words, 2 BS warnings. The next week I come through there again, and same deal. Stops me and 2 BS warnings.
Im leased to Landstar. 5 warnings in a year and they will pull your lease. I dont know if this guy was targeting Landstar directly or just doing it to everyone, but for the next few months I avoided US30.
I havent gotten a ticket for anything in 20 years, but this A Hole... And nothing I could do about it, because it was a "warning". Landstar told me to tell him "I dont accept written warnings, give me a verbal or a ticket". I dont know if that would have worked or not, but thats what the lady in the logs dept told me to do.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
