Every driver has their own password to log in and i believe each tablet is assigned to a unit . Problem is with a slip seat operation with many drivers jumping in and out of trucks these isaac tablets get abused way more then a one driver one truck deal . Company likes the isaac because if you have to wait inside at customers they can still get ahold of you through the tablet because you can bring it with u . The cn container guys have either isaac or something like it and the customer has to sign their tablet when every they bring a trailer in

Isaacs are pretty tough, even the slip seat trucks tablets are holding up. The tablet's pens are tough but can break and are $50-60 to replace. -

So I logged out yesterday, I know for a fact I did because it took about 2 minutes to log out so I wanted to make sure it logged me out.
Today I hop into another one of our trucks to bring it to the dealer, log in to go into PC mode, and it says I Have 3 violations and says i've been in driving mode for the 21 hours I was just off for. I went off duty and put in PC mode, moved the truck a few exits away and went back to my truck, logged in, and it says i've been Off Duty for the 21 hours. No violations on my logs.
Anyone ever had this happen before? Guess I should open a ticket with Isaac. -

"Things like fueling or taking the vehicle in for maintenance are not personal conveyance and must be recorded in your on-duty time." - Truck wash is considered maintenance.
"You must only be commuting to and from locations that are of a personal nature. This includes things like travel between your home or motel as well as short trips to restaurants or the grocery store. Anything that could be considered as work related, like picking up some parts for the truck is not considered personal conveyance." - Can not PC to a terminal or a customer as that would be considered positioning a CMV for the motor carrier.
Additionally you are limited to 75km a day in Canada.Phantom Trucker and ilovetruckz Thank this.
