Sounds like it was a pretty nasty breakup.

 

To all that has responded to his crap.... Talk to all his other employers, he did the same thing to them. He called and begged for a job. He couldn't get a job because of his past history and we felt sorry for him. He was paid for what he earned. He agreed to all the terms. He was fired so he is mad. I have proof from a few company's that said he was very unprofessional, He made the company look bad so he had to go. He had NO money to go over the road for food and fuel because he screwed the last company he worked for. He needed money UP FRONT to even run a trip and I said NO. He had to borrow from his family. He wants to be an owner/operator but cant be responsible enough to be. So believe what you wish, but just remember you have to consider the source !! We were wrong to hire him !! Our mistake !! Oh by the way, the DOT, OOIDA and the Insurance Co (plus a few more) that he sent letters to laughed at his untruthfulness. His past employers said they had issues with him also....SO LESSON LEARNED !!

 

What a bunch of crooks!! If they don't send the 1099 fwd that email to the IRS, I'm sure they will send it then!!!

Oh btw when we had our dot audit not to long ago....we showed the dot man the letters you have been posting. Then we showed him your log books and we showed him the lease and everything was fine but your logs, he took a copy of your logs with him and he was going to look into it and he was going to find out where your working and notify your company about you not knowing how to fill out your logs correctly. Lol....now thats funny....
THE ONLY MISTAKE I MADE WAS PAYING YOU BEFORE YOU HAD YOUR PAPERWORK CORRECTED... SO SHAME ON ME !!

I feel like there is more to this story than what we are getting.First,both parties need to move on.The o/o if he signed the lease,and read the print,put your big boy pants on and face up to the fact you screwed yourself.And to the company people,how in your best interest could you even consider responding to these posts.Kind of sheds a light on you,and its not a good one.I would have to say the story lies somewhere in between on both sides.An unprofessional driver,and an unprofessional company.Thats like a match and gasoline.They dont go well together.IMHO Man Im glad I no longer run OTR.
