some odd years ago (over 10) I had a little hand held CB radio and I would talk with some other kids around town. It was pretty cool. My handle was "Spam" because I live in Austin, MN. I guess I'll have to think of a new one though. There is nothing wrong with the Hormel Foods Corp. But being called "Spam" isn't exactly a compliment! :)

I may as well just go with Swaps. It's been a nickname for a few years now.

Hey cylyntblu. I'm down here in Southern Maryland (Charles County, outer DC burbs). Sorry about taking the name, lol.
Yeah, I bet you miss those Blue Crabs smothered in Old Bay. There's nothing like it in this world and only people from this region would know what I'm talking about. I'll be running my trout lines on my days off this summer, raking in a bushel or two. Throw them mean little crustaceans in the pot and steam them up (add a little beer and vinegar, w/ Old Bay), listen to them scratching the sides of the pot and then BINGO! Steamed Maryland Blue Crabs.....and beer, lol.
You living in Texas, you should be able to get crabs down that way from the Gulf area. They're not as meaty and tasty as the Blues, but pretty good.
    Stay safe out there.

Here locally, we are fortunate enough to have one of those little ham trolls. He's always going on with the "that's illegal, you need a license to do that" garbage they love to spout.

Thing is once he gets pissed off he goes right into curse mode, and breaks the same laws he's loves to recite.

I heard that red eye, did the same thing when I first started driving a tri-axle. Hauling storm debris, opened the swing gate, dumped the load (or so I thought..lol) and got a face full of pine limbs....no fun at all.:biggrin_25513:
