Your question is confusing. I was even puzzled when I read it and I like to think my comprehension of understanding hard to interpret wording is up there.

It sounds like you think that trailer axles as in each axle wheel ends should be connected or “locked” the same way a drive axle is locked together with an axle lock? This is not the case and never has been on any trailer axle I am aware of. Trailer axles are idle and always turn at different rates or are free regardless of the axle or suspension type.

Everyone is just trying to understand your question better so we can understand what exactly it is you’re talking about.

 

Trailers don't have axles like drives. Each position turns indepedent.

Maybe you're thinking of spread axle trailers and not turning too sharp?
