My hips and left knee got so bad that in 2014, I couldn't climb up into the truck anymore. The next few years I got 2 new store bought hips and a new knee. Rehab was easy on the hips, a but tougher with the knee, but now I don't have any pain. Not from them anyway. But I can get in and out of the truck and go up and down those tanker ladders easily, and in 2014 I thought I would probably never drive a truck again.
    Getting old ain't for sissies.

    That is awesome.

Incredibly brave and bold to undertake that in your senior years.

I'm not certain I could be up to that challenge.

But he can't move 40K coast to coast with one man and his cat...
Do one thing, do it well, get your price, collect you money..... Landscape, don't farm. Rebuild engines, don't do transmissions, we did forklifts/material handling. Left front end loaders and backhoes alone. Did pumps and hydraulics on lift gates for welding supply companies that we did forklifts for. Stay in the family of your core business/ Ling/Temco/Vought (LTV) was the 1st conglomerate., been gone a long time. Ever notice how a business spreads out to get part of another's gravy, then seems to become so thin it closes. Know your wings width before spreading...
