Speaking of knives, ran into a female on a crotch rocket who was carrying a folding in her right front jean pocket and a 40 cal with an empty chamber in the small of her back.
Can you unfold a blade left hand only? Can you rack that gun in the saddle, left hand only?
She was honest,”No, I can’t.”
The goal isn’t to make people feel small or inadequate, but if you’re gonna carry, at the very least, know how to use them. Cool chic, she didn’t get offended. -
1999 379 with a detroit 12.7 and fuller. I haven’t looked for a bell housing yet but I was told very pricey.Flint1, CAXPT, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this.

I wonder if your TO bearing hung on the input shaft. Has it been greased lately?Flint1, CAXPT, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this.

I can think of a couple things that may be wrong so don’t be throwing $$ at it till you have someone crawl under and look while you operate the clutch.
If the clutch was engaged while the pedal was on the floor, I’m wondering if the key has sheared on the linkage….Flint1, CAXPT, jamespmack and 7 others Thank this. -
Check the linkages. Might be slipping.
Seen a clutch in a T800H that gotten fried due to the arm slipping on the cross shaft. It'd slip, catch and then the driver would go and adjust the linkage rod. Then it'd work for a couple clutch applications before slipping on the cross shaft again.Flint1, CAXPT, singlescrewshaker and 6 others Thank this. -
Edit: Look closely at these areas, look for metallic shavings or anything indicating loose motion…..
Flint1, CAXPT, jamespmack and 11 others Thank this. -
When the body goes back on it will all be forward, just installing the driveshaft now along with checking all the brake fittings…

I've been helping the pit owner a lot, great young guy. Hard worker, want's to succeed. It's tough starting out until you get your feet under you. I've been there, I'm in good shape now and can afford to lend a hand.
Today he walks up to me and hands me a set of keys. I'm thinking it's something to work on. Nope, he heard me talking that I'd be interested in a winter project to turn for some side dollars.
"not close to what I owe you, but it's a start, she's yours"
1976, fresh BCII, new 13. Got laid over light last year, easy fix. Box is going on Flash. I'll put a 5th wheel on it, new rears (Chalmers, Primaax, hmmmm.) sweet little short daycab with wet kit.

Shows what kind of a man he is. Apparently he thinks the same of you. That's awesome
