Hey guys. I’m looking for a bank that would be most suitable for a truck driver doing OTR? Any suggestions?

That depends. You can use your local bank and have a debit card where you can use any ATM anywhere (for a fee) to with draw cash. Or, sign on with a nationwide bank like Bank of America that has branches most anywhere. Any bank can set you up with direct deposit. Note, parking a truck to use an ATM at a bank branch will be about impossible.

I’ve been with Ally for 11 years. No complaints and last I knew they still reimbursed atm fees up to $10/month.

My best experiences have been with credit unions. The bigger ones have shared branching agreements and co-op ATM agreements that will allow you to conduct transactions outside their primary service area for no fee.

Mine likely wouldnt help you unless you live there and either own a farm or have family using them. That or a 750 credit score since they only have 10 branches.

Best bet is to use a local one with business services. All big credit unions will have those services.

Ive found credit unions are universially the best option.

I bank with the same little hometown bank I’ve used since I was in high school. I don’t even live there anymore but have always kept my accounts there and all my truck and trailer loans have been with them.

These days any bank would be suitable for a driver unless for some reason you’re not getting paid with direct deposit.
