Just noticed the bike has a rear wheel stand as well as a kickstand. What's the proper way to get it on the rear wheel stand without dumping the bike?

Found this drain tube attached to the bottom of the airbox. Its on the filtered air side of the box (between filter and carbs). I'm assuming there should be a valve in that? Otherwise I'd assume it'd suck in unfiltered air?

Ones I have seen it was in the end of the hose. That hose is a water drain...singlescrewshaker, D.Tibbitt, cke and 4 others Thank this.

Guess I'll add that to my list. Too wet out to sneak around the neighbourhood so I just practiced taking off. After the 30th takeoff I seemed to be getting some muscle memory starting to build.singlescrewshaker, D.Tibbitt, cke and 4 others Thank this.

I did it wrong for so long (didn't ask anyone, and there wasn't an internet), it was embarrassing when I found out how easy the correct way was.

Likewise to all you real Dads. I'm a pet dad.
That's enough problems.

Yep, Ieave mine on, and it keeps it ready to roll. I finally had to replace the battery for the first time since it got repaired from damage in a 2007 parking lot hit (it's a 2005), when they replaced the battery just to be safe. I replaced it last year because it was shot..so this one should last the rest of it's life.

Happy Father's Day to all of you truckin' Dad's out there and to the Dad's at home. Being a truckin' Dad is not always easy. Being Dad by video is not the same as Dad at home. It's been hard at times for me to be the Dad I want to be by video and miss so many things at home for my son while I'm in the road. Back in the 80's when I was a little kid my Dad was an OTR flatbed owner operator and he had to be Dad and husband by payphone which was not the easiest thing to do.
I strive to be the best Husband and Father I can be every day while on the road and I wanted to say thank you and Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's out here. Be safe!singlescrewshaker, D.Tibbitt, Gatordude and 8 others Thank this. -
