Hmmm. Maybe I took that wrong. I'm 6'-6'1 depending on the gas station cameras.

I've never tried using center stand while on bike. Standing on left, right foot on stand, left hand on grip, right hand on rear bar. Yea a up and back motion.

I don't think I could do the cb750k while straddling the bike. Never even thought that was possible.

BTW I need a side cover for a 78 750K. If you happen to have a spare.

Never thought of an argue. I only ever saw one at a car show. Apparently John DeLorean was involved..
I dig this old stuff, and the way things used to be. But am glad I don't have to work on it. Kinda like the love affair with a 2 stroke detroit. Love the sound and the nostalgia, and want one. But like a sea doo or a scooter, fun for about 10 min.

Np @Flint1 Sometimes in text or print it can come of wrong. I wanted to be clear, I wasn't trying to say your wrong. I like learning some new. I meant that I'm respect. Maybe I've been visiting other rooms to much lately.

First edit. I'm not having a stroke I can think off. Let me fix this.

I know I did a pile of 79-82 750 Custom's and the driver side covers were like gold, especially if they had all three tabs intact. Once I get a certain Jeep interior out of my office space, I'll be able look around. I seem to remember ending up with one somehow - I'm only planning on restoring a '75 and the 76 has a Tracy cafe kit on it. Of course no matter which side you need, I'll probably have the other one lol.

I don't know if I ever did manage to get it up on the center stand while on it, but it wasn't for lack of trying. The day I figured out the right foot on stand lifting motion thing was a humbling one. While I didn't eat glue or crayons as a kid, there has been some pretty simple things in life that took me down a few pegs lol.

Drivers side. I was a kid, still coldish. Watch dad pull a handful of it off with his bear paw. But the cover stayed clipped in. He bought it new in 78. It's mechanical sound. But sure could use a repaint and chrome. Sat in barn alot, and still in barn. He bought a triumph in 2013. Just put the old Honda in the corner. Even he didn't wanna part with it. First thing I broke 100mph on. Then 130. I was retarded kid, cause those tires were junk. Smoothest MC engine I've every road. Worst electrical, starter ever. Kicking that 4 cylinder was a man's job, I was a teen.

I better be nice to this bike, was looking around to see what parts are still available and there's precisely jack #### available for engine internals. Stuff for 60s and 70s Hondas there's lots around.

Honda still is the best of any manufacturer for supporting older bikes.
My son is currently resurrecting a 1984 VF750F interceptor. He needed a fuel transfer tube and a spring for a carb. Honda had it to him overnight. Blackfoot Honda in Calgary allows use of hondas part lookup online.
My neighbor is the parts guru at Honda extreme.
Psycho cycles and ReCycle are the local wrecking yards. And ebay.
It took me 3 years to find a fuel tank for my XL250.
That Vf750F is a personal nemesis of mine. My freind used to own it. I rebuilt the engine in 2004.
He rode it till 2014, then crashed it in my driveway, and refused to get on it ever again. (He is what I call mentally soft) I stored it in a shed till 3 years ago, and I told him enough, and sentenced it to death by pushing it outside. Sigh, now I have to help resurrect it. Dam it.

Day-um! Wadaya know its all there through Honda. Thanks for the info!

Could not find pistons, bearings or anything available in the aftermarket. Just rings, gaskets and carb kits.

The CB750 was a solid bike. The original Z1 was a good ride as well. Got my first speeding ticket on the Z1. Was $175.00. That was a lot of money in the 70’s.
