I mean you could say you identify as no jobs before. Might work if they don't ask don't tell. But if they ever found out they could just fire u

OK, you're in school now. One thing at a time man. Pass your CDL test and get your license first. Then worry about finding somewhere to work. You'll have to fill out all those apps anyway. If you went to a private school, then I don't see the worry. If you went to get company sponsored schooling then you may have an issue. Either way, cross that bridge when, or if, you get there.

Lots of trucking companies are not hiring right now. The ones that will hire may not want an inexperienced driver with a problem background when they have a choice of who to hire. We wait to see what you find out.

What are your thoughts on job opportunities given that I would have an automatic restriction on my cdl when I get it?

Who cares what you told the School. They don’t, all they want is your money. Get your story straight before filling out apps. Long list of short term dead end jobs is a common thing. The main reason you’re looking for a career.

If you are now approx 21 years old--many CDL carrier fleets will not hire you simply because you are TOO YOUNG.

Different carriers will have different minimum requirements for age--some want you to be at least 22 or 23; others want you to be at least 25.

Suggestion: wait until you get to your 22nd birthday--then start looking/applying for CDL jobs. Some will hire you at that point.

To bump up your chances for success--when you do get your CDL--go ahead, and get ALL THE MAJOR ENDORSEMENTS--tanker, hazmat, and doubles/triples. You'll need them in the current market, to stand out from the other rookie applicants.

I got a copy from hire right, made an account and everything, it seems to have nothing. I got it by email if that makes a difference. I see nothing

that school most likely has a placement counselor......they have other employers.

but you still would OWE on the loan.

and for christ sakes, STOP with the lying.....

99% of new CDL holders can't drive anything but automatics. That's one reason almost all trucks are now automatics. Don't park at the fuel pumps to take your break. That's what new drivers need to know.

Hire Right isn't a comprehensive list of jobs. It collects job info only from subscribing companies that submit info to Hire Right. I'm not sure Hire Right collects info about non-trucking jobs. I thought they were only used in trucking. I recently retired so who knows.
