1000% true. A colleague sent them a highly detailed, 10 email long, 100 paragraphs chain of info with screen grabs, PDF files, correspondence, and an incredible amount of additional evidence to DAT explaining the scam and how it works and who the platers are. They kicked maybe 2 out of 100 off the platform. They care about $$ and thats it. They got hit with a massive phishing scam and only reacted once they had not other choice.
