Wow, comparing your words to mine, I think we can all see who is butt hurt. Also, you are the one that is telling him to "live and let live" while at the same time not practicing what you preach.

    Not butt hurt, just laughing.

What about the trucks that pull into the weigh station, get in line for the scale, then pull out of line and drive off? Whats that about?

Sometimes the company will get them a pass to place in the windshield. My last company had a little box looking prepass, the weigh station will send you by. That's what the sensors over the road coming up to the station are for.

Yeah, well, it's all fun and games until somebody pulls out a gun and plugs someone. I think Ike is playing a dangerous game there....

greenwhich will actually chase, Danbury usually will not, or just go down the ramp and back up the other side. Or stay on 87 to Albany and take a right and miss the whole state

i never had any issues with Greenwich, i'd say the last time i was down that way would have been like in mid-2005...after that, if they started chasing scale runners, i'll not know of it.

it was unusual for any of the CT scales to be open (again at the hours i ran), but if they were, and jammed up, i drove on by, just like the VA scales in Dumfries. on I-95

Danbury there was always a notice in the scalehouse window of the fines for running the scale, but frankly, that scale house was never opened the hours i ran, like the one near Waterbury/Groton.

my "usual" running hours back then was like 10PM to 4 AM on the I-95 corridor.

    same for Danbury.
