They can also avoid this by simply using a different type of drug test these days with technology, there is the tonge scrap test simply just scape your tonge lock the device and in a few minutes the results will be in, no more hassles about diluted urine to worry about, the only issue is the cost of the tests.

Nothing to do with your test, but if your urine is so diluted that it's causing this it means you're likely over hydrating and not providing enough electrolytes. hyponatremia is rare for healthy people, but can be fatal.

Sounds like they didn't find anything in your urine, so they can't classify it as positive, but the sample was too diluted to classify as negative either. I doubt that a note from your doctor would make a difference, that's probably just their way of brushing you off. If you haven't already, check with Clearinghouse to make sure nothing negative was reported. If not, I would just move on.

Are those tests approved or acceptable to the Feds?

NO! They are NOT! The ONLY testing that is officially allowed for DOT testing is urine testing ONLY the items listed in 40.82. This is further broken down by 40.85(a) this is the ONLY testing allowed on an official DOT drug test.

Dope users think if they find info they like then just announcing that thing to the world changes the world. It's called dope for a reason.

I wish they’d just allow hair tests. I wouldn’t have to worry about being over hydrated.

I wished for a pony, it didn't work. The world is as the world is.
Any chance you are a 20-something year old and this is the first job/career you've entered where drug tests are real? I'm a supervisor now at a job with 20-somethings. EVERYTHING for them is just a topic to be discussed endlessly and they seem to think the job belongs to them as much as it belongs to the owner or boss. If I asked all of them to leave a burning building right now, they wouldn't do it. They would need a long discussion about why, how, who started it, is the fire THAT hot, what if it's inconvenient. What if they heard it's not really on fire. Why can't we just do what we want to do and still get paid, or paid more.......... It's sometimes worse than trying to herd cats in a dark warehouse. They work as if ANY excuse they can mention is sufficient to retract the request for the work to be done. Hopefully, non of this is like you. The world doesn't care if our opinions agree or disagree with it.

that’s a good point. In other words I’ll just “shut up and deal with” if it’s any consolation to you. I too wished for a pony, never got it.
