Hi all,
Have a question regarding getting rid of the dash / instrument cluster lights during optimized idle... Is it possible?
The bunk "ac" (more like a blower and that's about it) will not even begin to cool down the bunk during these 90 + degree days, so I turn on interior comfort mode under optimized idling to keep the front AC running through the night. My issue is with the dash lights.
The most I can do is turn them down on the dash brightness setting in the menu, but there is no option to turn them off. With the blackout windshield curtains shut, it should be nearly completely dark, but even at the lowest setting the dashboard / switches / dials still put off quite a lot of light.
Am I helpless to change this so I can actually get my cab dark without having to resort to draping a towel (and blocking the air vents) over the entire dash? Makes no sense to me that there wouldn't be a way to completely turn them off, along with the parking lights. Frustrated. Any advice? Thanks!
