I've paid $230 principal on a $700 million loan I took during the pandemic.
I think I'm really headed in the right direction.

You told me you were moving on up to the east side and moved into a dumpster! I am barely getting by, but will help a Brother Teamster out.
LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
Thanks. Check out my GoFundMe.De Trucker and Banker Thank this.

This guy may be able to explain to you that a full time package car driver is still making as much as a Feeder Driver pulling a single trailer. It is the same 3-4 years of progression at most locations.De Trucker and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

Don't be hating. If we strike most of us will be fine. No one is getting anything repossessed.
And after the strike our pay checks will be even bigger.Dennixx, Banker and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
I worked across the street from UPS in West Columbia SC back during the '97 strike. It looked like San Francisco. Drivers pushing their entire life around in shopping carts, living in a tent city. We'd throw the bones from our chicken wings out the window and watch them fight one another just to get something to eat. Sad for sure. Some were living in their Escalades, it seemed.
LtlAnonymous and De Trucker Thank this. -
Hating, no, I have friends who are seasonal contractors for UPS, they've already been contacted by UPS and offered CPM and per load rates that far exceed holiday rates, I'm not at liberty to post the rates offered, but I'd gladly wave a middle finger at your picket line as I crossed it.
Maybe you won't but what about the guy making $18/hr on night load with 4 kids and new BMW? Think he'll be just fine? Neighbors wife works for a finance company, as soon as you guys voted to authorize the strike, they start pulling and reviewing every loan where the person is employed by UPS, they do the same for any strike, since this is a national lender, they have files sitting open related to SEIU strikes in 4 different states.
LOL, there are dozens of studies, reports, analysis, including by the Unions themselves that show otherwise.
Who Wins in Strikes? | Charles W. Baird
Let's not forget the millions is lost revenue, temporarily and permanently, that UPS lost after the last two strikes, Fedex, DHL and others reaped those benefits.Bean Jr. and Jubal Early Times Thank this. -
And you're an example of why labor will never truly advance in this country, if there are enough greedy coward simps like you. You're trying to be provocative, but I think you're just a sissy with no honor. I don't talk to people like you, though, so we're done.
Cross a picket line at your own peril. There's the day of the strike...but then there's every day after that, too. I certainly wouldn't forget. If the hat were being passed around for you later on in life, I'd gladly take a few bucks out of it and wave a middle finger at you.Banker Thanks this. -
Not being a union man, I don’t think he expects people to pass around the hat for him.

I really hate the word SCAB more than most people do because it is often used inappropriately. In my opinion it should only be used for someone who crosses a picket line. Now his past comments make perfect sense.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
