Hi, i need some suggestion on whether to spend over $1000 on Upper steering shaft (Small one coming out of column.) Or if there is a way to get teeth rebuild on it.

I have 2016 international prostar. Part number is 2597281c91

I see there are some used whole steering columns for sale in NY (4 hrs away) for reasonable price.but can't see shaft condition until i go there.

Appreciate any ideas/ suggestions.
