It was a great job in the beginning. $750 a week in tractor trailer rental from the company, you paid for expenses and kept the rest. The wife and I brought in 4k to 6k a week each. After the initial 4 months that all changed. Sat for days on top of days. The companies score is at rock bottom. Many brokerage firms do not want to do business with them anymore. To add insult to injury, they took thousands of dollars from me. One shady thing I noticed from the start, is they don't give you the original rate confirmation. One time dispatch freaked out on me for talking to the broker. Gee I wander why. I went to drop off the truck so I could quit. They refused to give me the $3,000 deposit back, 3 weeks of pay (mostly sitting), and said I destroyed their driver seat. They sent me a picture of the driver seat cushion, being lifted up. Ok? So why not fix the seat cushion then charge me that? That alone was thousands of dollars. After all the damage they said I owed them $7,000. The settlement is below. Whenever I see one of their trucks, I make sure to warn the drivers. I've gotten about 3 of them to quit now.
