I have 2022 389 very similar to that one (even has a red frame too but has a Black Cherry paint). Only big difference is that I have a 525HP Cummins. Anyways it has 160K miles and everyone knows I'm looking to buy a new truck well the last 3 trade-in values I've gotten have been around $150K.

Used truck pricing plummeting but new prices are steady. It makes no sense. My truck at $160K is a better investment than spending $250K on a new one.

Was at the local dealer today and went nosing around some new 389’s because I wanted to see who ordered them and cancelled. It was a let down when all 3 window tags said “Stock”.

 

They are slowly. Been watching daycabs and small bunk sleepers. Both have dropped 15k. Still high but it's a start.

 

I bet insurance will drop the value of a 2023 before too long now that 2024’s are out .. At 250 k many are probably upside down to start ..

 

It looks like it sold but the Peterbilt dealer in Indy had a "used" 2023 389 with less than 15K miles and it was fully speced with a 565 Cummins. It was listed for $207K.
