Hello everyone!
I'm new here. Surprise, surprise, right? I've lurked for about a week now, but I went ahead and registered as I've become more comfortable and sort of gotten to know some of you through your posts. So here's a bit about me.
I like twinkies (hence the name) and yes I know they're horrible for you, but man are they delicious. I'm 19 years old and I live in Missouri. I'm very seriously considering trucking as a profession because I absolutely love the thought of getting paid to drive a vehicle. I love driving and I love seeing new and exciting places. Even if those places are just new gas stations. I gather from what I've read here that trucking may not be a cakewalk, but when it comes to something I love I have a pretty positive attitude and even in a less than ideal situation, I'm usually able to find some humor in it. I was born in Central Arkansas and moved up to Missouri to try to broaden my horizons. Arkansas was a nice state, but Missouri is much bigger and I feel there are more opportunities for me here, although eventually I would like to live in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle or somewhere in Oregon.
I currently work in an AT&T call center in sales (so if you have questions about AT&T, I can probably help you out). While technology is a favorite pastime of mine, my desire to go places and do things is much stronger. My interests are varied. I have more than a passing interest in languages and different cultures as well as in movie-making and film.
I'm going to try to hold off on asking questions for a while until I've had some time to look around more and see if some of my questions have been answered already.
I look forward to associating with you all more, and eventually, seeing you out on the road!
Well hello there!
