Morehouse/FCC

Well I'm 5 settlement periods into fcc now ....when I pulled my lease at Morehouse and chose FCC I figured I'd may about the same or a little less, well I was wrong!
I've been running about 22 to 2400 miles a week at FCC
....could run much harder if I wanted to but that's about what I did my last 2 years at Morehouse and kept getting the tude from management and the stink eye and occasionally called lazy .
Screw them ! I earned the right of slowing down as I worked most weekends and holidays until I paid off the truck .
So anyway when i leased to FCC I told them straight up I'm a 3 to 500 mile a day person and they said no sweat that's how we will run you and I barely hear them .
No bad attitudes or BS either .
When the settlements shake out not counting bonuses I'm bringing home about 3500.00 more a month than I was at Morehouse.

 

Yep ...holding further comments till I get my escrow back...just the financial facts .

 

Then the truth is gonna fly .

 

The diesel came while I was gone , it's bench mounted now and running .

 

Escrow was returned this week with only an 11.00 fuel tax deduction.
Why did I really leave Morehouse?
It started a couple years ago when I payed off my truck and slowed down, from there the attitudes from the owners , the shop and progressively got worse along with a couple people in dispatch .
I knew when I finally pulled the pin they wanted me gone but wouldn't fire me ...why I don't know other than I wasn't as productive.
It's bad times in trucking right now so there's more that probably goes into this that I don't know but what's done is done .
Love FCC and making more money here working less , also have good health and dental benefits here at a good price .
No bad tudes here either and the shops are steller !
Would I go back to Morehouse? ..nope !
Lots of memories there and friends made but times change I guess .
