Hawaii fire

Just an advisory...The fires are a horrible thing and it will be a long time before we know the true costs in lives and property.
Anyone who uses the fires or their cause or their aftermath to further their own political agenda will be banned.
There are plenty of places for those kind of comments, just don't do it here.

 

Sadly the death toll has increased.
99 people have lost their lives in the wildfires.
This is nothing short of apocalyptic!

 

Families who lost homes getting calls from realtors -- just days after deadly Lahaina fire

 

Both my wife and I are are saddened by this tragedy. We spent a lot of time looking around Lahaina,as we stayed at hotels on the northern outskirts of town.
So far 106 lives have been lost,and they’re still looking for more victims.
It doesn’t make any sense for such a high loss of life. I would’ve thought that the bypass would’ve made it easier to evacuate the town-when we were on our honeymoon there(2010) it didn’t exist yet.
