Pay attention to those you think are dicks. They make a valuable point about how you are perceived and you will find that there will be folks in the office that determine if you stay employed that might well have the same attitude and opinion but just sugar coat thier words.

Fair enough- I’ll take the axx chewing, you don’t think I chewed my own on this one?

I also think a big part of the problem is - some, NOT ALL, but some people trying to get a rise out of me for being new and making a mistake- forgot where the #### they came from themselves.

    good day to you sirs

Settle down. Just because you don't like the answers you're getting doesn't mean that they're not valid. People here are actually trying to help you. Accept the help or not...your choice entirely...but don't get smart mouth because your feelings are hurt.
And, for whatever it's worth...if you were driving for me and displayed that same attitude toward a mistake you'd made I probably would have fired you. Not for the accident, but for your excuses that you thought would make everything alright.

No they didn't forget! Combined we have seen or made the mistakes and learned the hard truth and effects from them, seen the good the bad and the downright ugly and watched different type personalities deal with it all in different manners. So you get what a responding person gives based on that personal experiance.
Like it or not, think its too harsh or not doesn't matter. What matters is there is good in even the harshest response, you just have to look deeper into what was said and question yourself to find it.
