That's got to be powerball type of odds right there.

Wheel comes of a trailer at perfect time and aim to run someone over on side of road.
    Unbelievable

Its really unreal how things like this can happen so precisely. Unfortunately they do.

I experienced a similar situation back in the '80s when I was working on an ambulance. A pickup truck with no tailgate, was traveling along the highway when his spare tire fell out of the back of the truck. It rolled across the highway, through the ditch, about 40 yards into a yard and hit a lady working in her flowerbed.
Its crazy how timing like happens. Its been one of many trips I have never forgotten.

In my 68 years, I can honestly say, I can see no rhyme or reason why some folks make it, and some don't. 1st question on my list. Several years ago at a drag racing event in Phoenix, a rear tire came off a top fuel dragster( @280mph) bounced a couple times, and into the crowded pits where it landed squarely on a woman and killed her. What were the chances there? When times up, times up, apparently. I tell people, if trouble, don't do anything on the shoulder, or be aware what's going on around you.

There's a story this week about a lady that got hit with shrapnel when an engine blew at a tractor pull. See if you can find it.....I'm on my phone

Not fatal.... just banged her up. Sent her to the hospital. I really don't know what happened after the hospital. I bet she was sore for several days... lol

Oh, I do remember it either broke her leg or her hip..

Watching a npk race a few years ago on tv the turbo wheel broke and shot out of the bullhorn exhaust like a missile thankfully no one got hit . I’m often in gravel yards and hear clink clink when stones let loose from tire treads , it makes wonder if bikes on the shoulder ever get hit from a stone.

I was out bombing around on my bike last night. I had no idea they seal coated part of the route I was taking until I was already on it. Sketchy enough riding on loose chips, didn't help when the a-hole pulling a horse trailer blew past me doing about 110 in the 80 km/h contruction zone. Took a few little rocks to the legs and visor. Thankfully he didn't ding up the bike from what I could see.
