No restrictions for days, weight, length, etc. Just total posted flatbed loads, within 500 miles of my home base. Like this Screenshot_20230818_085558_Samsung Internet.jpg

I know its tough market these days but i have my dispatch killing it . I know a lot of guys doing self dispatch but its harder because all immigrant companies are just blowing off the loads off the loadboard before you was making decision even to call and ask for better rate . I did just 3100 miles @3 for all miles including dead heads ... missed another 2k in 3 different partials because i didn't have ramps and half trailer available. The dryvan did bit over $2 for all miles this week .
Its definitely harder than last summer for dispatch finding decent loads but possible.

We worked with several opS but they all gone due to : i have back haul on this route , i want this much money , i dont haul there , this is too heavy for me , let me think and call you back etc etc .
I have my step conestoga with 0 restrictions - anything paid well getting ride , twic , us citizen , any direction , .. i hate heavy loads only because lastly had 2 tire blow out ( wasn't even at full capacity ) , another driver turned op with open step and one more op with dryvan . Its hard but very possible to make good money even in this market . I did $2 load out of CT this week , lucky at 10k lbs , but another one was $4 ( had partial from il to CT ) . Wishing luck everyone and great mood for work .

Yeah there can be no latency between seeing the load and calling it. I'm sure like everyone else, you all are getting the Indian guy calling with "highest paying loads" and "work for any equipment" "$10k per week per truck"
I'm sure I'll be hiring a dispatcher before long myself but someone I know and I can trust, none of these overseas cons

Indians seems nuts offering any type of trailer loads . My dispatch is Ukrainian and overseas , she works for me over 4 years and i can not find any better ( i tried and had couple before ) , she does step and flat only these years , added dryvan from new year ... No other equipment, its not advertising post but more like encouraging to find great dispatch ( after several attempts you will definitely find someone ) who specializes in you segment . I am not trying to get opS , i gave up on drivers and sold last truck/trailer to last driver . Just my combo and spare truck . Just moving different direction.
My previous dispatch dont even take opS because he can handle only few to do quality work , he has line of people waiting and he does only step work ... not even flats .
Not sure where from all negativity about overseas dispatch , scam/fraud , double brokerage . My dispatch is working with my authority and everything completely transparent , i do billing myself

You're the first I've talked to that works with overseas dispatch. I had to change my mc150 to add a business line so I could remove the constant contact from these "dispatch services" all that seem too good to be true. I appreciate that perspective for sure. I've worked with a local dispatcher in the past, they did great but it's become tough for even him to find work now.

All the time!! Always too good to be true kind of stuff. I've been getting so many calls lately, I've been trying to hold them on the line for 10 minutes just so they can't make that many more calls for the day. One told me he makes 1000 calls per day

Just start asking questions... most of them lost when you ask average dollar per mile rate , grosses for last 4-6 weeks , direct customers or spot , ask for free one week trial and if you happy you pay and continue working , if they check broker rating ... usually the answer : let me get ahold of john , he is my manager and he will explain you more :) ...
