Good, tired of overpriced brand new vehicles. It's about time things went back to normal. I remember when I bought my Ram about 15 years ago they had $10,000 incentive right off the top.

Bought my Silverado in 19 for $33k.
Sold it this year to one of those on line folks for $31.5.
Low miles because I was gone all the time, but dang.

 

Watched a video explaining why the big three quit building small pick ups . It’s due to government stupidity called CAFE fuel standards.. A small vehicle needs to get around 50 mpg to meet the standards a huge vehicle will meet it easier because the idiots base fuel economy off the vehicles footprint using wheelbase and track width.. EV has no requirements seems to be flawed logic if you ask me..

 

Exactly. I just found out the details. Don’t really remember though!! I commented on the size of the new Pick Ups being made. Basically they skirt the mandates.

 

The annual Dream Cruise is happening here today. Ford got a free commercial on the afternoon news. New Mustang, 5.0 with 500 hp. Hard to believe.

 

6.2 dodge puts out 900 hp on pump and 1025 on ethanol.

Cadillac 6.2 has 668 hp
even a 3.6 at 472 hp
The caddy's can even be had with a stick if desired.

 

But what do they sell for a 20 year old couple with a kid??? Nothing.

 

Yeah, I was wondering why the restaurants on the east side were mostly vacant this afternoon, and the wife reminded me that the Woodward Cruise was on today.
