Storm damage SoCal

Flash flooding is going to be a major threat. Some areas of SoCal haven’t seen rain in ages and the ground has been weakened by wildfires. It’s not going to be able to hold water very well,if at all so mudslides/landslides are going to be an issue!

 

Well, at least the parking lot at the Pilot T/S in Otay Mesa, CA just north of the border will get a good flushing. No pee smell for a couple of days.

 

I 15 in Barstow has been close most of the day. It’s just been a steady rainfall out here. Flooding a few interstates.

 

Atleast there’s an up side.

 

So what am I in for, headed to riverside for a delivery and pickup somewhere over there.

 

The detour I believe is, get off E. main and follow that road. It’s old Route 66. Takes you back to 1-15.

 

Another route would be, Barstow rd(247) south to Hwy 18, go west to I-15

 

Just a heads up, who’s ever coming to So. Commiefornia, best to get in tonight. The morning commute it’s not gonna be any better. I’m sure there will be flooding all over the interstates and closures.
