An 18-speed would probably be best, but a 13-speed would be better than a 10. And you should probably have tall gears in the rear end.

Can I haul a 6 axle end dump in NC? If it's over weight just grab a permitt? It's hard finding a tri axle day cab with a 13 speed

Personally I would start with 3.73, but 3.90 or 4.11 might be better.Daycabinit Thanks this. -
As you are just getting into the market, explore what you would need to haul ‘debris’. Lots of dump guys won’t haul it no matter the pay. Generally speaking, hauling digouts, clean outs, etc., a dump box is usually preferable because you may be unloading at a landfill, or local dump.

I found a international prostar with a 3.55 gearing so I gotta find the right one now but like yall mentioned it's hard to find something higher than 10 speed . I can find them with a 13 but notna tri axle but wheelbase is about 190. The international is a tri axle with 230 wheelbase 475hp. I wonder what's the weight of the truck and the trailer is a Mac 6 axle 36ft 102w 92h end dump.

Far as the truck, 3.55 are a good usable gear with 475 or better hp. The 13 makes pulling hills easier being able to split a gear. I've got a buddy with a prostar with a 450, 3.25 rears and a 10 speed that does ok. He mainly stays in the flat ground though

I am willing to haul anything that's not gonna mess up the trailer. The truck is a 10 speed with 230 wheelbase tri axle. I will look into finding a 13 speed with the spec. Soo 92in yall think is to high for the trailer as I was just trying to maximize everything tk make sure I'm good for any job and can haul big tonage because it can haul 60+tons. Do yall think if I tuned it to 500hp would that make up for being a 10 speed instead of a 13?
