Recent issue just started when I’m driving down the road the truck loses all throttle response and just idles til I come to a complete stop then it shuts off. I can turn the key off then back on and it fires right up and sometimes it happens a few minutes later or sometimes it runs for 30-45 minutes. I changed the fuel filters a week ago and it ran fine the whole week til yesterday when it started doing this again. It’s a 2012 Volvo Car Carrier.

seems like protection is shutting off the truck either coolant level oil level or pressure as well as crankcase pressure any of those might be causing problems.

Appreciate the info…so I swapped out fuel filters again yesterday and it ran great all day no issues

Losing throttle response wouldn't lead me to fuel filters. It'd lead me to a bad ECM connection or throttle-position sensor off the top of my head. You should also mention whether there are any active codes in the engine-diagnostics menu.

I have had a similar issue and it would show "service ECM". disconnected and checked my batteries individually 2 out of the 4 were bad (one had 6volts the other 8volts) replaced them and so far I haven't had anymore issues. Engine would start just fine, but I'm guessing it was causing some weird voltage fluctuations that the ECM didn't like
