Have searched and can find no info about this company. They appear to be a dry tanker co. in Alabama.
Anyone know anything about them?

They seem to be headed in a good direction as far as safety is concerned. A overall drop with a couple of hiccups in the last 3 years. -
I hate to be rude, but this guy is looking for insight, not a safety score or a smiley face, there's some things on these safety scores that people fail to realize, and up until recent I didn't know either. I work for a bulk hauling company and all of our trailers are fixed axles, can't distribute the weight, in Georgia they do not have an innerbridge law, therefore we get overweight tickets even when we're not over on gross, we're over on axles, it's out of our hands, we can not shift the weight. So these safety scores although do give vital information, they can be misleading as well, we have a high score because of how Georgia treats us, VMC operates bulk tankers so they'll fall in to the same category. To the original poster, I can't be of much help, I run I-10 in Florida all day and see their trucks regularly, nice equipment, newer to new internationals, and pull dry bulk, I'm sure you already know this though, but guys lets get real sometimes and put out useful information, and stop posting just for the basis of a higher post count.
x#1 and PuritanProwess Thank this. -
I didn't realize that weight tickets counted against a company or driver in relation to their Safer Score.JustSonny Thanks this.

With the new CSA rules they do, they've expanded to 7 scoring categories now, overweight being a factor in one of them. This is how it was explained to me from my safety director.

Me either! (Oops, there I go posting for post count sake again....2156 and counting. I'm going for the prize the MODs give out when you get to 2500!)

Well they do, it's a simple thing i wrote, no need for the sarcasm, sometimes it would be nice for helpful information though, anyone can login to safestat, not everyone can give info on VMC.
Gregstruck70 Thanks this. -
you can shift your weight in a dry bulk tanker had to do it many times myself it is not easy to do but can be done
