Pre amp doesn't work on kicker

    I could not find a s7502 or any transistor ending in 7502 .... Common transistors would be 2sc1674 NPN or U300/310 fets. If the power light comes on unless the relay is bad the transistor is bad.

    Well I have everything hooked up amp works good. I noticed sometimes the pre amp works. Also I'm thinking that it is the switch cause when the pre amp isn't working and I wiggle the switch then it starts working.

    I will have to look a little closer wa4gch The only thing I saw that looked like a transistor was the number I wrote. Thanks for the help you've really been a big help with this and your advice on changing parts out in a cb.

    You got to love those STICKY SWITCHES .... LOL :biggrin_25521:

    SADLY as amps and radios get older crud builds up and can do exactly what you found.
