I'm looking for a new career. For awhile, I have contemplated driving.
I recieve freight all day, so I know many drivers, both local company dedicated LTL drivers and O/O furniture from Florida/NC.
Long term, I have a five to seven year plan. I currently have business commitments and wish to be debt free of home and investment property when I make the move. Not to mention a fat retirement account.
Still would have to work.
So... Is it possible to gain experience, and suppliment my income over a few years by possibly doing Intermodel out of Charleston or Wilmington a couple of days a week in my off season? Any other avenues? Logging?
Thanks for any advice...
How to start part time?
