I like to see the old low buck back yard choppers. But TRAVELING??? Wow, what a beating!

 

The compression ratio on my bike is low enough it runs fine on 87. Tried running it on 94 and it didn't seem to like it.

We run 87 in everything - quads, lawnmower, chainsaw, pressure washer, generator etc and never had any issues. The only thing I put 91 in is my sled but its a high compression engine.

 

I hear ya, I usually only went 75-120 miles from home back then. That’s back when I wore 34 around the waist, it still beat the crap out of me in my 30’s….

 

Pick up a set of balancing gauges and check the equality of the readings with a t fitting to check 2 at a time and use the 2 closest to even. there is a cheap set on Amazon.ca for $40 or more
