haven't heard nothing i know they were pulling some trucks off the ab account in cartersville because they had to many on it again. that is why they they are taking some of the new ab trailers and pulling the graphics and putting them back as otr trailers

just completed my 3rd week of training and according to the top guys at the facility they "ARE NOT" losing any AB accounts. Or if they are "THEY" haven't heard anything regarding this issue...

 

i was kept in the dark about a lot of stuff there, when i switched back to regular pay from per diem once i realized what a rip-off it is, (basically you dont get that much more money, you show lower income, and good luck getting a decent tax return), then they took a bunch of benefits away,and my niles took a big plunge, i sat for 2 days in albany, ga waiting to be dispatched by that idiots in weekend dispatch, then sent me somewhere else to pick up a load once my reg. dispatcher came back in. i did start seeing a lot less of the regular shippers.

as for that accident in ny, i blame some of that on the lousy safety management there. ny state police have been out for blood with millis drivers, and the upper management, "they " never know a thing until the driver finds out at the last minute. funny how i would get a message once in a while that freight is soft...yet they cant get enough students through the school.

 

msh you should of known everything about the bonus not being the same between the pay packages it is out there it is not a secret. as far as the new york dot i have been there a few times since the accident and i have not had no problems at all. as far as sitting in albany that happens on the weekends sometimes and as far as going somewhere else to pick up i do it all the time out of albany.

 

It isn't any suprize Big shippers like AB would cut loads to a company that gets news coverage for something like the NY fatal PORN Accident. I was working for Millis till 2/09/2010 and never had any problems in NY with DOT.
Get ready though, Millis is about to change even more this year with the negitive attention over the Porn Death.
Dan will no doubt implement the electronic logs, and with thier system for dispatching, drivers will be lucky to get the 3000 milage bonus. Which is not worth living in a truck.
