I'm Moving to Nevada!!! Just kidding, thanks for all the suggestions. I got an offer with Western Express. What do you guys think about that company? I've been in Mexico for the past few days with my wife's family. I like Bison could be cool doing transnational driving, but I'll be looking into all of them. Thanks @Chinatown

Western probably wants you for flatbed. I'd look at Paul Transportation first for flatbed.

I worked there many years ago and liked it. Had a good experience pulling flatbeds.

Well, out of vegas your kind of limited, just like SoCal. Personally I like here near Edwards, its quiet. I would rather live here as Las Vegas, they have not water of there own ya know, continues to be a problem. Work wise there is some really good paying driving jobs in this area, Pepsi has a good gig be home everyday out of Mojave, just shuttle trailers to Bakersfield Plant and back. Chemical and fuel both are here and pay over 30 an hour, cement plant so Double Eagle, Valley Bulk, Calportland Cement are here all pay well and keep you homke at night, Rite Aid's DC is here is gravey local loads. Great weather as well. plus you can always run otr or anyone you want to from this area if thats your deal.

mav100, lual and Chinatown Thank this.

Try Valley Bulk, not sure what their requirement is you may need some miles, Robertson will hire you you be at home every night get some miles then move over to Valley or DOuble Eagle, both close to you. Valley is in Victorville, Double Eagle is Hesperia behind the Pilot Truckstop. Both will do good by you but you may need to do a year a Robertson's first. Robertson will finish your training, don't know anything about them. You could also give Apex Bulk in Adelanto a call there always looking for local drivers, I worked there back in the 90's.

Hello... I was thinking about Roberson's too. I'm near Compton/Paramount and I need my CDL and I want local or Regional. Is that my best bet? What other companies are similar? Thanx.
