I installed a new fridge, 110V hooked up to my cobra inverter. Now it creates noise in the cb. I have to drive with it off (fridge). Any ideas?????

I installed a noise filter on my cb power supply and it cut out my engine noise completely. If you install this filter on your cb power I would think it will cut out that noise.

I have a similar problem any time I run my inverter.

Most power inverters are very "DIRTY" and will always cause this problem. You can try using an rf choke from radio shack on your power wires for your cb but it will likely not help much.

RF choke wont do it by itself. Get the noise conditioning kit. It has a resistor and a capacitor in it. That should stop it as long as you have a good ground.

yeah you can get it at radio shack. Comes in a kit. Connects across the power leads for your CB
