Is this for real? You're drunk in a CMV and dropping dimes on PFJ? I don't think they're your problem.

    singlescrewshaker and Nostalgic Thank this.

I gathered you we're parked from your first post. You stated you would be arrested for DRUNK in public, I didn't. I just don't see how PFJ is your problem when you painted yourself into a corner.

Kind of curious what you mean? That's a Softail bike. Not sure of the year on that, but my wife had a 2005 Deluxe, and it was a softail, not a hardtail, although that seat looks like it's low slung, they should be cushioned enough even though they're lower than the Deluxe normal seat height, and I think they call those Sundowner seats..been a while since I looked at them. As it is, the Deluxe was 1" shorter than the Heritage Softail Classic, 2005 of mine, which is why she liked it, as she's lower center of gravity herself. :) ... and fat bottomed. :)

Edit: Looking at the Sundowner and Badland seats for the 2005 Deluxe, I see what you mean. That seat is neither, and may well be a custom hard tack seat. :( The suspension, though, is not hard to ride...but the seat would get sore with a minimalist padding. :)

I think he's referring to the hardtail bike he had in the past.

Yes it’s a Softail, and that’s what I would like to build for my wife.

My Shovelhead is a rigid frame bike, she couldn’t take the beating on it these days.

Her bike was a 2004 Heritage, she sold it when she had her knee problems.

I still have my rigid Shovel, and I have a Geezer Glide as I call it….

Okay, just wasn't registering what you said with what I was looking at. :) Your wife has good taste in bikes. :)
My Heritage Softail Classic is a 2005 Black Cherry Pearl /Black Pearl and wife's was just Black Pearl Deluxe. She gave her's up after she had her knee replacement, but she still likes to occasionally ride mine when she feels up to it. I should have gotten the Geezer Glide, but at the time, I didn't imagine how many miles I would have put on it, and the kind of riding I ended up doing, and that Glide would have been a lot more comfortable with a sound system to boot, but I couldn't justify the extra expense at the time, and the Heritage just had such a siren call to my inner demon. :) Though as you can see from the picture, I tried emulating as close as I could with the functionality. After all was said and done, with the expense of getting it to look like this, I should have just taken the plunge and gone for the gusto. :) But I still love my machine. :)
Now you know what I look like, so that I'm not a figment of my imagination. Not flattering, but it was done with a flip phone camera, some 20 years ago. :)
Edit: Almost, 20 years ago. :)
