    When it says "to be gained" I understand that's at midnight, but will it come back while driving, or off duty only?
    I'm asking because I have a few hours left of my 70, but want to make sure I'll get the hours back while I am driving.

    It will happen at midnight of whatever time zone your log is set for regardless of whether you are driving or not.

    It shouldn’t matter since your 70/8 is based on calendar days. I’ve done it on Motive without issue so unless your log has a weird glitch you should be fine.
