Open the driver side door. It should be on the door or door case. Or on the front most left most corner of the dash.

 

I’ll try tomorrow to get inside the cab. As I mentioned earlier the truck was auctioned off without keys and doors locked

 

Many people hide a spare key .. battery box by fuel tank or hanging under cab in a accessible location are common spots.. they only have a dozen or so key patterns so if you do find vin dealership probably can sell you a key.

 

Just get a locksmith. They’ll get you inside and make your keys while you wait. VIN tag in the door jamb.

 

Call a tow company for a lockout, get your vin off the doorjamb and order keys.

 

If the door is locked and the inside door handle is pulled will it unlock the door?

 

The door should open if you pull the handle.

 

Look for a metal tag or stamped in the back of the cab. LH side- bottom. Maybe last 8 digits.

Or get a big easy and open the door.

Today the the key for truck appeared . So that was pretty cool. as per vin number this is a 2014 durastar 4300m7 4x4
Engine is a maxxforce 7 , but how to figure out what transmission belongs in there?

 

Dealer can give you the full specs from the vin.
