I just called a millis recruiter on Friday and she told me that they don't hire inexperienced drivers, she said i need 1 yr experience. Which I don't understand considering they have a school.

They only hire inexperienced drivers if you go through their school. It's all on their web site.

there are some guys on paperless logs already the guy that trained me was switched over to them friday morning. they said they were going to try and do about 20 trucks a week. right now only the trucks with the newer talking qualcoms are being put on paperless logs. they siad the older ones are not able to do it right now so they dont know when they will be.

wats up fellas??? i just finished my second week in cartersville and just made it back home for the week end. everything is good and the second week was really fast paced. we started backing monday, tuesday, we finished with our backing and everyone made it. a couple of people are kinda struggling but i think they will make it. we finished up the week going on road trips and we will be doing the same next week... i'm starting to feel really comfortable in the t-2000, the instructor has an 08 and it rides and drives like a cadilac... hey spanky, looked for you but didn't see you man. we really didn't have a lott of time. were you down there this week???
-
yeah i stayed there monday night and left tuesday morning to go to trenton you all were already on the range when i got up
davidh06 Thanks this. -
hey spanky, sorry i missed you man. hopefully i will get up with you and get to meet you man. i'm ready to get hooked up with my trainer and get all this stuff behind me and get to rollin on my own. i've talked to a lott of drivers and i haven't heard not one negative comment.

not a problem mceheel i am sure we will meet up sometime
davidh06 Thanks this. -
just knocked down my 3rd week and school is over
. this coming monday & tuesday will be orientation and then will be hooked up with trainer. everyone(4 of us) passed all the road test & the backing. the last 3 weeks was very humbling & and a BIG reality check... trucking is for real and there isn't any room for being a half-##### and not being very SAFETY conscious. MILLIS expects a lott out of their drivers and i am going to fit right in. the next class is the 22nd of march in cartersville and the class size is 6. whom ever is going good-luck, mr.griffin is cool but he is very dedicated in what he does.
