Mrs T.....we have a lot more in common.....I always wanted to be a nurse!!! I've been a Candy Striper (69-73), Student RN (73), phlebotamist (87), EMT Basic (96), CNA(09). I was headed for LPN school in January but lost my funding (WIA ran out of money). In August I was diagnosed with stress fractures in both feet, making it hard for me to be on my feet for more than a few hours, so I know the Lord closed to door to nursing for me.

Stress fractures in both feet? OUCH!!
That's the worst part with nursing, 12 hour and more on my feet, I get home feeling like I never want to stand up again!
I've done it too long now, over 23 years, and will be looking to move on once my teen heads off to college. I'd like to teamdrive with hubby, I certainly love riding in the truck when i get the chance, but its a hard adjustment to make going from being apart for weeks on end to being in the truck 24/7.
(I think I might keep my nursing licence just in case !!
