This is why I still do my own tire, unless it's a Emergency.

 

Apparently the concrete companies are who set the schedule now. They called a week ahead and tell you "see you in the morning". Not that I have anything to do. But when a buddy calls for help, you just show up. Not bad for amateurs. Been a few years since I played wirh crete. Hope it's a few before I do it again.


And a nice reminder why I drive truck.

Well I think this weekend will probably be my last bike ride for the year. Carbs need another cleaning and thinking I may as well just park it and start tearing it down.

 

Did you ever figure out a drill bit for drilling your jets out?

 

I'm going to borrow a kit. Going to order up an ultrasonic tank too.

 

Just a thought here, have you looked at any other carb kits? If your set is a 32mm, maybe a 34 or 36mm one would have the larger jets.

Yep, did concrete work as part of my job before I retired and the same reason I was glad to be driving a flatbed truck. Of course, now I'm doing a project for myself now, and I just told the wife, that the work seems harder now, than it did 16 years ago.

So I'll just take my time and get it done in stages. Bought a HF cement mixer so I can take my time instead of rushing to the rental place to get a rental back in time like I did the last time I did a patch job....plus the patches needed this time are bigger and longer. Pictures later.
