1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Which OTR still offers CDL training?

Don't they have a thing where they take the tuition payments out of your weekly checks once your are on the road and driving?

If I was going to do the training today I think Prime would be it. Any place you go to will be about the same.. some hate it and some love it. Good luck

avoid central.. Not sure for your area, however, I know PAM transport and USA trucking both offer training as well... Think your better off with Prime. The pay will not be great, but your training with them will be better than with swift in my opinion.

If you are refering to Swift, what I got from there website was you pay for tuition, they hire you, and then they reimburse. Is this not correct?

logexdan, I would like to know the answer too. It's true that on their website I don't see any mention of a loan or financing. All that is mentioned is the reimbursement and of course to be reimbursed for anything you would pay for it first. However, the reason I think there may be a loan-situation is from reading a post on this board. Somewhere a driver posted the schedule of payments and deductions for a new driver that went through their school. The payment schedule showed a weekly deduction for the school payment as well as a weekly reimbursement.

This is a question that could probably be answered in a quick manner by simply making a phone call to their recruiters or sending them an email.
